1. Lifting beam

The lifting beam is a component connected with the crown block hook, and has three types of structures, namely, the shackle type connection of the lifting ring, the sling type connection and the lifting lug type connection. The lifting shaft is connected with lifting ring and shackle, which improves the stress condition of the lifting appliance, and also avoids the decoupling phenomenon during the loading and unloading of steel billets, reduces the height of the clamp itself, which is beneficial to use in low places. Sling is used to connect the lifting shaft, so that the clamp can bear better force. However, the height of the lifting appliance itself is large, and it needs to be used in tall places. When hanging the hook, it needs to use manual auxiliary hook. The lifting lug type connecting lifting axle can be directly hooked by the crane driver, but the lifting appliance shall be grounded and the hook shall be lowered until it is not stressed during the lifting operation, which may easily lead to the unhooking of the crane hook.

2. Connecting rod

The connecting rod is the connection between the lifting beam and the tong arm.

3. Hoisting mechanism

The opening and closing mechanism includes manual lifting rod type, (automatic) double hook type, (automatic) single hook type, (automatic) rotary lock type, etc. The automatic opening and closing mechanism is the mechanism to realize the automatic opening and closing of the billet clamp. Its action does not require any external power source, and the automatic opening and closing of the fixture is realized by the gravity of the fixture itself. Lubrication of the hoisting mechanism: lubricating oil (or engine oil) must be added regularly (2-3 days), and then move up and down several times until the lubrication is complete. Do not add excessive grease for lubrication!

4. Synchronizer

The synchronizer is a device to ensure the synchronous action of each clamping arm of the fixture.

5. Tong arm

The clamp arm is the main force-enhancing part of the clamp, through which the billet is clamped.

6. Support plate

The support plate is the support of the billet clamp. The support plate is supported on the upper surface of the billet to ensure the smooth operation of the opening and closing mechanism of the billet clamp.

7. Forceps tooth

The tong teeth have pin-shaft connection, dovetail connection and grooved plug connection structures. The clamp tooth is the main part in direct contact with the billet, which determines the reliability of the billet clamp holding the billet.
