  Permanent magnet chuck, also known as magnetic chuck or permanent magnet jack, is a necessary handling tool for machinery factories, mold factories, forging factories, steel mills, shipyards, etc., which can greatly improve the handling efficiency of block, cylindrical, plate, irregular magnetic conductive steel materials. Permanent magnet chuck is a high-performance rare earth material Ndfeb (N> 40) As the core, by hand pulling the suction cup handle rotation, thereby changing the magnetic system of Ndfeb inside the suction cup, to achieve the need to carry the workpiece holding or release.

  Two: The principle of permanent magnet chuck:

  The permanent magnet sucker is designed using the continuity principle of magnetic flux and the superposition principle of magnetic field. The magnetic circuit of the permanent magnet sucker is designed into multiple magnetic systems. Through the relative motion of the magnetic systems, the magnetic field intensity on the working magnetic pole surface can be added or eliminated, so as to achieve the purpose of holding and unloading.

  As shown in its working principle, when the magnetic pole of the permanent magnet is in a state, the magnetic field line comes out from the N pole of the magnet, passes through the yoke, passes through the ferromagnetic workpiece, and then returns to the yoke to enter the S pole of the magnet. The workpiece can be firmly sucked on the working pole of the permanent magnet chuck. When the magnetic pole is in a state, the magnetic field line is less than the working pole surface of the permanent magnet chuck, and the closed circuit of the magnetic circuit is formed inside the permanent magnet chuck. Almost no magnetic field line comes out from the working pole surface of the permanent magnet chuck, so the workpiece will not produce suction, and it can be successfully unloaded.

  Design of permanent magnet chuck:

  1. Permanent magnet chuck magnetic system and yoke

  When designing permanent magnet chuck, the magnetic circuit should first be carefully designed, and a good magnetic circuit structure can try to make more magnetic flux gather in the working surface to meet the requirements of lifting weight, and can use as little NdFeb material as possible. At the same time, the design of the magnetic circuit should also carefully consider that the operator is easier to achieve working unloading. Solve the technical difficulties such as the large suction force of the permanent magnet chuck and the difficulty of pulling the handle.

  The magnetic circuit design of the permanent magnet chuck has two magnetic systems, which are divided into two parts: active and fixed. The state of the active magnetic system is changed so that the working pole surface is in a state where the magnetic field is superimposed or the reverse magnetic field is generated and the magnetic field is cancelled. At the same time, in the permanent magnet circuit, in order to reduce the reluctance and increase the flux density of the key parts of the working pole surface, some soft magnetic materials are used as magnetic yoke.

  2. Select the working point of the permanent magnet sucker

  Due to the variety of lifting workpieces, therefore, the air gap distance between the working pole surface of the permanent magnet chuck and the workpiece surface is changed, and the magnetic circuit is a dynamic magnetic circuit.

4  Three: The characteristics of permanent magnet chuck:

  1) The permanent magnet chuck uses high-performance permanent magnet material NdFeb (Nd-Fe-B) as the core of the product, making the product smaller, stronger lifting force, and permanent magnetic force.
